Misty's Guided Walks

We can now also offer great guided mountain walks and fun navigation

skills days right here in the Lake District. Qualified mountain leader.

Learn to read a map & compass or enjoy a superb guided walk!

Main Website: www.mistysguidedwalks.co.uk

Scramble & Ridge Free - None of our walks will involve named scrambling or edges like Striding Edge, Sharp Edge, Jack's Rake or the like, though we can still take you up the favourites such as Helvellyn, Blencathra, and the Langdales via a scramble-free (but equally fab) alternative route.

Dog-Friendly or dog free - We love walking with fellow humans but if you are a dog owner, all our walks are great for active dogs who love their country walks. There will be no struggling to lift your furry friends as we choose stile-free or dog-friendly stile walks, and pick fab routes which the dogs and humans will enjoy. (We regret that stile free routes are not suitable for wheelchairs) We sometimes like to bring our dog along too, so if you'd rather we didn't, please let us know.

Adults only - As we have not yet applied for an AALA license, all of our walks are for

adults only, so if children are just not your thing, or you simply want to unwind and

enjoy the fells in peace - this is the place for you.

Fair-Weather Walks - OK so it's nearly always raining here! But if the forecast

looks good for some of your holiday (but not all of it!), we can take you out on the

clearest day so you get the most out of your stay. Great for landscape

photographers who wish to capture the best daytime light or changeable cloud

formations.

Small Groups - We like to lead small groups so everyone gets included and there's

not such a big impact on the surroundings. You might even see more wildlife too.

If you'd like to go on a private guided walk, please email us at mistysminiguides@icloud.com with your preferred date, area and and where you'd like to walk.

Notes: Walks available in summer weather conditions only.  Most of our walks are sadly not suitable for people with mobility issues. Information on routes for the disabled can be found on the superb Miles Without Stiles website. Sorry, but we cannot accept under 18's for insurance reasons.
